About

A cryptocurrency transaction and transfer web application, handed to me as a half-finished codebase that replicated an intricate existing product.

What I built

• Reverse-engineered the partial implementation to understand undocumented transaction flows well enough to extend them without breaking settlement logic.
• Completed the build into a working product with a Vue.js frontend on a Laravel backend, deployed to shared hosting.

Outcome

Delivered.

What I took away

• Reading someone else’s half-finished system is a distinct skill from writing your own, and a more useful one than I expected.
• One of my earliest production Vue and Laravel builds — it is where that stack stopped being theoretical for me.
